802 RF Terminal WIFI Compatible!

Outstanding Value
The competition is asking, "How can they do it?" Small size, long battery life, and 802.11 compatibility - this terminal has it all. Plus, we've made it the easiest to implement.
Small but Strong
Despite its small size and weight (less than 14 ounces with integrated laser and batteries), this unit can withstand 5 ft drops to concrete!
Simple Operation
Each scan and each time you press the Enter key, data is transmitted to an Access Point, then on to the Application Server. The Application Server sends prompts back to the display and can trigger voice message broadcasts on the 802 Terminal. Backlit display is standard!
Fast Internal Battery Charging
With our new fast internal battery charging feature, you can have a full charge in 3 hours or less! "Intelligent" charging replenishes only the power used - no need to fully discharge batteries or wait through a full charging cycle for partially used batteries! The F15 9V Power Supply is required for the built-in recharging feature.
Lowest Cost Available
A starter system of one LT802 laser RF Terminal is just $1595. If you use the LI50 Long Range CCD Scanner in lieu of the laser, a starter system can be as low as $1274. Additional terminals are inexpensive and simple to add. Control up to 999 Terminals from one Application Server.
You can start small, develop your applications, and then expand at a low incremental cost. Unsurpassed performance at the lowest price- unbeatable value!!
Compatibility with 70/700 RF Terminal programming
For users who have software written for the 70/700 Series RF Terminals using the PromptCOM / ActiveX component, running your application on the 802 RF Terminal is as simple as re-compiling your program. - they are source compatible. The Windows ActiveX component is included at no extra charge with every 802 Terminal - there is no developement package to buy!
Easiest to Implement
There is no programming on the terminal. All programming is on the Application Server, in the ActiveX-compatible language of your choice!. There's only one program to write and maintain. No development package is necessary to buy. All you need is supplied with the purchase of a 802 RF Terminal. It's the perfect product for developers who wish to distribute systems to remote locations.
ActiveX support is provided free of charge, providing the overall structure and all routines which when completed, result in a running application. It is compatible with Visual Basic, Visual C++, Delphi, and most other Windows 32 bit development platforms. Click here to download the ActiveX pdf programming guide .
Again, there is no programming necessary on the RF Terminal itself. All ActiveX programming is on the Windows-based Application Server and can be in VB, Access, Delphi, etc.
Support for the Zebra QL320 Portable Printers!
The RF Terminal now supports the easy-to-use Zebra QL320 Portable Printer.
The QL320 is a label or receipt printer only. It is available in a 3" size. This lightweight, ergonomically-designed portable printer is an excellent choice for retail Price Marking / Shelf Labeling as well as carton labeling, work-in-progress, and other inventory and healthcare related applications. Worth Data sells this printer along with several sizes of labels and /or receipt paper.
Label design software is included with each printer. Label formats can then be downloaded to the RF Terminal from your host program, inputing variable label information as the user is operating the Terminal and printer. Using standard RF Terminal programming, the host computer simply sends printer command sequences to the RF Terminal. These printers greatly increase the functionality of the RF Terminal. See below for pricing and details.
Voice Messages
In addition to the display prompts and error messages, the RF Terminal has the ability to audibly prompt and advise the operator with pre-recorded prompts and error advisories triggered by the host program. Voice messages are particularly helpful in poorly lit areas, cold environments, non-English speaking cultures, and keyless applications (faster scanning without having to refer to the display). |
