BMA Sure Step
GIVE US 12 WEEKS AND WE WILL GET YOU LIVE
This page outlines our Sure Step™ Methodology which is an Implementation plan for
BMA Software®.
To that end, we want to tell you about how our Implementation Program, called BMA Sure
Step™, differentiates itself from other comparable software programs to give you more
value for your training investment dollar. To summarize these advantages of BMA Sure
Step™, will offer you the following:
- A well-defined scope - BMA Sure Step™ allows your implementation to be better tailored
to the way YOU do business. Because our experience and focus has always been on
the small-to-mid sized wholesale durable goods distribution industry, we are better able
to determine what functions and configurations are most appropriate for your business
processes and those that are not. As a result, we can complete your implement-ation in
about half the time that it would take other software companies to complete their plans.
- A thorough Step-by-Step Plan – BMA Sure Step™ clearly defines each step and purpose
of your Implementation plan as well as who takes ownership. Thus, the expectations of
both the employees of your organization (the customer) and the members of our implementation
team (our staff) are better defined. Therefore, the confusion of who is supposed
to do what, which often delays your implementation time, Is virtually eliminated.
- Best of Business Practices - BMA Sure Step™ was born out of the Microsoft Sure
Step™ methodology. As a Microsoft® partner, BMA Software® is able to leverage the
vast resources of Microsoft which includes their methodologies and practices they employ
for their very large and most complex installations. These practices are based on
over twenty-five years of sound research on a global scale. We have adapted the advantages
of their insight to our tailored methodology and call it BMA Sure Step™ knowing
that process that we employ has been well-tested and founded on only sound principles
of business and accounting management. This gives our customers confidence that we
will take good care of them so that they can be free to build their business. As a testament
to this, Dynamics GP, the platform of which BMA Software® is built, is one of the few
software packages in the world that is GAAP certified; it also is installed in more companies
in North America that any other Package (currently at over 45,000 companies or
hundreds of thousands of users).
- Supporting Resources & Documentation – Everyone knows the importance of documentation,
not so much as a resource for the user, but, more importantly, as a resource for
the installer. Not only are over 88 manuals shipped with BMA Software®, but there are
a similar number of on-line tutorials (which can be downloaded), a on-line Knowledge
base, called Customer Source, weekly Webinars, User groups, User-blogs, and a network
of local partners and specialists in every North American major city.
- Supporting Cast – We have a team of experts which includes a CPA and manufacturing &
field service specialist.
- Project Management – Your Customer Services Manager will lead you through these
implementation steps rather than you hiring a project manager. He is motivated to see
that you complete this project on time.
After you sign the BMA Software Purchase Agreement (PA), Software and License Agreement
(SLA), and Support Agreement (SU), you will be sent a Statement of Work (SOW)
which will contain a projected GO Live and remote training schedule (see first Section
called Statement of Work).
The SOW will give a complete outline of all the steps, sign-offs, and worksheets that are
necessary for us to take you live on BMA Software® using the BMA Sure Step™ methodology.
If there is any change to this well-defined scope, then we would ask that a Change of
Scope form be filled out and signed.
Again, thank you for choosing BMA Software®,
