- Create Kits at Order Entry on the fly.

- Kits/Assemblies: Kit allows the creation of an inventory item that is made up of a combination of component items that exist in your inventory.
In setting up kits, several options are available including :
- 1) Component Allocation: Pull components out of existing inventory items, or create components by using items not from inventory items.
- 2) Cost of each Component Item: Can be pulled from inventory record or set exclusively by the kit being used.
- 3) Invoice Display: Display all components, Kit item only, or a selected number of components. (You may want to include items such as packing materials, etc that would add to the kit cost but not display on the invoice)
- 4) Cost of Kit Flexibility: Can be calculated by totaling the sum of the components or independently from the components.
- 5) Un-allocation of Component Items Option: For Pre-built Kits can explode the component items back into inventory in order to sell them individually, QOH adjustments are made automatically.
- 6) Kit Availability Query: Can go to the Kit item in the inventory record to determine how many kits can be built based on the quantity of the component items needed for that kit.
- 7) Purchasing: A Kit Item can be entered into a PO, which fulfills the component items appropriately when kit is received and posted.
- 8) Reports: Kit availability, costing information, etc.
- 9) Sequencing: sets how the items will be displayed at POS
