Software Features - Rental

Turn On Rental Tracking in Systems Administration Menu (OE Tab): This will add fields in both Inventory Maintenance and Order Entry Screens

· Rental Option Control on a item by item basis: This adds a rental price field in the “Pricing Screen” (below).

· Same Item Record has both a Rental price in addition to its Regular prices.
· When item is tagged as a rental item, it defaults to a rental price when entering it at Order Entry, but can toggle over to the stocked item price just by un-checking “R” (rental) @ order entry screen.
· Can have rental item and stocked items on same transaction.
· Can have same item be sold as a rental item and as a stocked item on same transaction.

RENTAL PRICING:
· Can charge customer for pricing labels!
· Price labels for customer! Can print in user-defined format!
· Retail price matrix to calculate customer’s retail prices!

OTHER FEATURES OF RENTAL:
· Accepts a partial return of rental items and allows the generation of sale invoice or credit from remaining items in a single step.
· Accepts future rental orders!
· Billing: Repetitive Billing:
- - Daily - Daily
- - Weekly - Weekly
- - Monthly - Monthly
· Calculates depreciation and net book value of rental assets.
· Can bill in advance of complete rental cycle.
· Delivery and Pickup by Truck (can set up a route code table and tag by customer).
· Items may be transferred to or from stock for Sale Inventory and Rental Inventory without re-entering.
· Kits or Component parts can be rented!
· Monitors stock and notifies user when stock is projected to be insufficient.
· Provides a rental price quotation process: Identical to order entry for sales.
· Provides for physical inventory distinct from sales stock.
· Rental Periods
- - Maximum – no limit
- - Minimum – no limit
· Rental retail value of a product if customer wants to purchase it!
· Returns of rental items allowed!

TRACKING:
· Customer Invoices!
· Inventory Invoices!
· Rental items by whole (kit) items as well as constituent items.
· Rental items to location and current user (on rent/off rent at customer site, in service dept., in transit, stock, etc.).
· Rental Analysis:

- - Maintenance Costs
- - Profitability
· Serial numbered items consistently with similar items in inventory.
· Service department labor & parts used in categories (courtesy, warranty, repair, etc.)
· Stock availability and notifies user when stock if projected to be insufficient!
